Ingredients for 6 servings
- 600 g red cabbage
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 1 large onion
- 1 potato
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 100 ml vegetable broth
- pinch of crushed caraway seeds
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- freshly ground pepper
- sour cream
- chives
1) Sauté finely chopped onion in oil.
2) Add chopped cabbage, diced potatoes, and season with salt and caraway seeds.
3) Pour in the broth and simmer until soft.
4) Then blend everything (whisk with a blender), add sugar and wine vinegar.
5) Serve garnished with a dollop of sour cream and fresh chives.
