- 650 g cabbage (small head)
- 75 g all-purpose flour
- 75 g breadcrumbs
- 50 g cheddar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 level teaspoon of oregano
- oil for frying
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Cut the cleaned and washed cabbage into quarters, place it in boiling salted water, and briefly cook until soft. Let the cooked cabbage drain.
Remove the core from the cooled cabbage and chop it finely, add the beaten eggs, sifted flour, breadcrumbs, grated cheddar, pressed garlic, and oregano. Lightly pepper the prepared mixture, add salt if necessary, and mix everything thoroughly.
Prepare patties, then coat them in flour, eggs beaten with milk, and breadcrumbs, fry slowly until golden brown, and serve immediately. We recommend mashed potatoes and red cabbage salad as a side dish.
